In a new twist on Love Monday The Kitchen at Discretion will join Discretion Brewing on June 27th in supporting farm-based education for local kids via Farm Discovery at Live Earth. 20% of the day’s beer sales—plus 20% of sales from two special food items—will support Farm Discovery environmental and nutrition education programs for local youth at Live Earth Farm.

Farm Discovery at Live Earth will be featured in Discretion Brewing’s Love Monday program all day on June 27, 2016. The weekly event supports local, non-profit organizations by donating 20% of beer sales for the day to the featured program. The June 27 Love Monday will have a unique twist: Santos Majano, chef/owner at The Kitchen at Discretion (on-site restaurant at Discretion Brewing), is creating two food items featuring ingredients grown on Live Earth Farm. The Kitchen is donating 20% of sales from these two items to Farm Discovery.
Funds raised at Love Monday will help Farm Discovery provide ongoing opportunities for youth to visit Live Earth Farm to learn about organic farming, local food systems, and nutrition. Through Farm Discovery’s programs, local youth-including underserved ones-build confidence in learning to be active caretakers of themselves, their community and their environment.
