Farm Discovery is pleased to announce its collaboration with the Pajaro Valley Unified School District for the upcoming summer, offering 160 students participating in their Extended Learning Programs the opportunity to join our farm camp. This partnership aims to deepen our ties with the local community, especially with families already involved in PVUSD’s before and after school programs. We are enthusiastic about providing a safe and enriching environment for these students and their families throughout the summer.
In addition to this collaboration, we are proud to continue our Farm Camp Scholarship program, further reducing barriers for children to attend Farm Camp. Our goal this summer is to provide full and partial scholarships to 40% of our camp families. This achievement is made possible by the generosity of our donors, who share our mission and understand the importance of empowering communities to develop sustainable food systems.
