Meet Itzel – our newest member to the Farm Discovery crew! Itzel hopped on board with us in late February, perfectly timed to experience the beginning of springtime on the farm. Join us in welcoming her as she joins us in helping our community flourish!
She is part of BioJam’s pilot cohort where that sparked her interest in food justice. With an interest in food & culture, Itzel received her Bachelors degree in Linguistics & Anthropology from UCLA. Itzel plans to build out a butterfly garden this spring after having a vegetable garden for a few years. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, going to the beach, and building out her Snoopy collection.
