We are so excited for our team working Farm Camp this summer! We have hired two new seasonal staff to join us for eight weeks as summer camp counselors.
Max Freedman is a Corralitos native and experienced outdoor educator. He has worked in various summer camps, outdoor schools, and education programs, most recently working in San Diego leading groups of students in nature based experiences.
Jessica Andelin recently moved to Santa Cruz County after studying and working in the Santa Barbara area. She’s worked as a zoo educator, marine mammal care lead, and currently works at the WOLF school as an outdoor educator.
Our Education team has been learning safety procedures to keep campers safe whether we’re in the kitchen cooking or hiking to our redwood grove. We’ve also been discussing the importance of building community and connection within our groups of campers and among staff and families. We are feeling ready for camp!
