This past weekend at Farm Discovery, we hosted our annual picnic in honor of the donors, volunteers, and supporters who make our mission possible. We’re thrilled to report that this year’s picnic was one of our most successful yet. Approximately 35 friends and families gathered to enjoy delicious food and live music. Guests also joined staff on a farm tour, gaining insight of the farm and the impact of their support. Strawberries and peas also ripened at the perfect time for guests to pick and enjoy. We extend our heartfelt thanks to our local vendors, Free Elements and Chef Tabitha Stroup of Friend in Cheese Jam Co. and Terroir in a Jar, for providing amazing food and music.
Supporters also learned more details about our amazing staff, our farm camp, and our 2024 Sustainability Circle campaign. We’re excited to announce that our Spring Fund Drive has raised $2,897 so far! Our upcoming Sustainability Circle raffle, which includes Ray-Ban smart glasses and more, is scheduled for May 31st.
