Hello, my name is Juana Lona. I am the new intern at Farm Discovery at Live Earth Farm! I have always loved being outdoors, whether it’s just outside playing or going into nature and exploring. During summers I started working on the lower farm where I harvested and packaged vegetables for CSA members and the farmers markets. I experienced how the lower farm operates and now I am very excited to learn more about the upper farm and the many educational programs they offer. I love helping others and being outside so when I heard about this opportunity I jumped out of my seat and applied. I am very grateful for this opportunity to teach kids about organic farming and how Live Earth Farms provides fresh produce to our community.
