In April, we hosted a unique experience on the farm. We have now reached even international communities! The Singapore branch of the Culinary Institute of America visited our farm for a unique farm to table experience. We hosted ~40 students who flew all the way from Singapore and showed them the beauty of farming. Coming from an urban landscape, students were fascinated to see vast greenery and farm animals. Much of their produce is actually imported so mass gardening is not common in the area. Students totally immersed themselves and showed excitement by petting Bella our cow and wearing farm gear. After their tour, they cooked a fabulous meal with the guidance of a local chef. The food was cooked to perfection and students gained valuable knowledge about the connection between food, farming, and community. We are beyond grateful that we were chosen to be a representation of farming and the beautiful California central coast!
