At Farm Discovery, we’re lucky to have volunteers who bring their energy and dedication to our mission. This volunteer appreciation month we want to recognize Amy O’Brien.

How She Got Involved

Amy connected with Farm Discovery via Idealist while looking for volunteer opportunities.

She supported us by logging countless hours of data entry. Having accurate information and data helps us write more informed grants and demonstrates Farm Discovery’s impact.

Amy is inspired by “how dedicated you are to your mission statement. Each of you show a wonderful commitment to farming and preserving nature. It’s just a great program for families and young people! I’m so glad to have discovered you!”

Thank you, Amy!

We could not do all that we do without our volunteers’ generous contribution of time. With our them, we are cultivating a passion for agriculture and healthy living in the next generation. Volunteers bring our mission to life, ensuring that we can educate and inspire our community about sustainable agriculture and food systems.

We invite you to join us at our Spring Supporter’s Picnic on April 9th, 11am-1pm to celebrate our volunteers, donors, and sponsors. RSVP here: Spring Supporter’s Picnic
