We are pleased to announce that Farm Discovery is a part of the Santa Cruz Gives campaign again this year!
Santa Cruz Gives is a holiday fundraising platform. The goal is to create a local network of donors and increase giving via crowdsourcing. We hope to inspire donors to dig a little deeper and give a little more than they might otherwise this holiday season.
Farm Discovery’s project this year is our Community Produce Distribution & Education Program. We are donating thousands of pounds of fresh, organic produce weekly to three food pantry and meal programs throughout the county.
We believe that increasing access to fresh fruits and vegetables, nutrition and environmental education improves community health and environmental stewardship.
You can support these efforts and get fresh food on the plates of our community members most in need including- foster youth, homeless, seniors, farmworkers, and families.
