Fereshteh Fatemi, who is Farm Discovery at Live Earth staff member Tara Walker’s mother, makes jewelry and other items and is doing a benefit for Farm Discovery during Open Studios. She is donating 10% of the sale price of any items purchased during Encore Weekend of Open Studios (Oct. 15-16), when visitors mention the code ‘Discovery.’ “I feel this is a small way for me to contribute to a very good cause,” said Fereshteh. “I am totally in support of kids being exposed to all the abundance of nourishment that’s provided through farms, and the program that you provide for kids staring from an early age.”
Fereshteh also donated a pair of earrings to the silent auction for our recent Fall Feast in the Fields.
