We are pleased to announce that Farm Discovery is a part of the Santa Cruz Gives campaign again this year! As we embrace the season of generosity, we invite you to support our Santa Cruz Gives Campaign, where every contribution counts in providing nourishment to foster youth, families, veterans, and our unhoused neighbors in our community. We hope to inspire donors to dig a little deeper and give to something bigger than themselves this holiday season. Last year we raised over $50,000 through Santa Cruz Gives, and hope to raise $80,000 this year with your support.
Farm Discovery is raising funds for our Nutrition Security & Education Programs. We are donating hundreds of pounds of fresh, organic produce weekly to three food pantry and meal programs throughout the county. In 2024 so far we have harvested and distributed over 1,600 pounds of produce from the Farm Discovery fields and gleaned 40,000 pounds with Live Earth Farm. With additional funding we could increase that to over 50,000 pounds. Thanks to the generosity of donors like you, we recently installed a new walk in-cooler this September and want to expand to its fullest potential!
