December 13, 6-8 PM The Board & Staff will be gathered to honor the season and celebrate each other and the great work we have done in 2019 to bring empowering and transformational farm-based education to our community this year. Celebrate with us and 20% of beer sales will support our #SantaCruzGives campaign.
Each year over 2,000 local children and youth learn about farming, nutrition, and environmental sustainability and connect with nature on our farm. All four seasons offer opportunities to gain knowledge and skills about our food system, the farm and natural ecosystems. Beginning November 1st, the Live Earth Farm Discovery Program will receive a 20% match from the Monterey Peninsula Foundation for 100% of donations made through the Birdies for Charity program. All of the money raised will pay for transportation and field trip fees for 600 local, under served students to learn to eat and live
