For the second time, on August 11th, Live Earth and Farm Discovery have the honor of supplying produce for the Farm to Table Wine dinner at the Chaminade Resort & Spa. I had the pleasure of attending last summer on my first visit to Chaminade. (When having the luck of living in a resort town, one does not always find the leisure time to enjoy its resorts.)
Last year, we were paired with our longtime champions Storrs Winery and it was a pleasure to sip and dine with Stephen Storrs. This year we will be paired with Bargetto Winery. I am looking forward to enjoying their wine again after a lovely time at their event site with my daughter’s school parents club fundraiser. What an engaged community we have the joy of living in!

Through his carefully sourced and crafted menus, Chef Church takes guests on a culinary journey through the Central Coast showcasing the region’s diverse abundance of fruits, vegetables and produce inspired by the seasonal harvest. Guests have the opportunity to meet and mingle with the vintners, Chef Church as well as representatives from the featured farms.
The evening begins with a wine and passed hors d’oeuvres reception at 6:00 p.m*., on the outdoor patio with stunning panoramic views of the Santa Cruz Mountains and Monterey Bay. Dinner begins at 6:30 p.m*. featuring a five-course menu and carefully paired wines.
Reserved seating is not an option, as all guests are seated at large, connecting, beautifully set tables designed to invite open conversations amongst guests. Individual ticket prices for Chaminade Resort’s Farm to Table Wine dinners are $110 per person all-inclusive. Tickets must be purchased in advance. Reservations are required.
