Spice up snack time with a fun face plate! Choose any fresh veggies (or fruits) you have on hand, chop ’em up and make a face. Or get creative and go Picasso with it. This is a fun activity to do with the kids and great way to cultivate healthy relationships with fresh, healthy foods.

For dips, we chose:

Beet Hummus

  • 2 Large Beets
  • 1 Can Chickpeas
  • 1 Lemon (juice)
  • 3-4 Garlic Cloves
  • 1/4 Cup Tahini
  • Blend it all up!

Kale Pesto

  • 2 Cups Torn Kale
  • 1/2 Cup Almonds
  • 1/2 Cup Olive Oil
  • 1/4 Tsp Salt
  • 1 Clove Garlic
  • 1 Lemon (juice)
  • Blend it all up!

Then grab a stick, take a dip, and enjoy!
