We are pleased to announce that Farm Discovery is a part of the Santa Cruz Gives campaign again this year! As we embrace the season of generosity, we invite you to support our Santa Cruz Gives Campaign, where every contribution counts in providing nourishment to foster youth, families, veterans, and our unhoused neighbors in our community. We hope to inspire donors to dig a little deeper and give to something bigger than themselves this holiday season. Last year we raised over $35,000.
Farm Discovery is raising funds for our Nutrition Security & Education Programs & Produce donation programs. We are donating hundreds of pounds of fresh, organic produce weekly to three food pantry and meal programs throughout the county. In 2025 so far we have harvested and distributed over 1,600 pounds of produce from the Farm Discovery fields and gleaned over 40,000 pounds with Live Earth Farm. With additional funding we could increase that to over 50,000 pounds. Thanks to the generosity of donors like you.

Santa Cruz Gives is a holiday fundraising platform exclusively for Santa Cruz county nonprofits. The goal is to create a local network of donors and increase giving via crowdsourcing. Santa Cruz Gives is presented by Good Times in partnership with The Volunteer Center of Santa Cruz County and the support of Community Foundation of Santa Cruz County, The Applewood Fund, The Joe Collins Fund, Driscoll’s, Inc., Comcast, Monterey Peninsula Foundation, Santa Cruz County Bank, Wynn Capital Management, The Pajaronian, and Press Banner.
