- 5lbs apples
- 1 cup apple juice
- Spices (optional, we recommend cinnamon or garam masala)*
- Add apples to a nonreactive pot with the apple juice and any spices you choose to add. Bring the contents to a strong simmer over medium heat for 10-15 minutes, until the apples soften and break apart. If you’d like your sauce to be smoother, you can blend with an immersion blender.
